Caribbean AI Tutor

A curriculum-aligned AI tutor for every student, not only the ones whose families can pay.

Who this page is for: Parents of primary and secondary students, teachers and school administrators

The problem in Trinidad and Tobago

Private tutoring in Trinidad and Tobago is priced beyond most households, and exam outcomes tend to track household income. The students who most need structured, patient practice before SEA, CSEC and CAPE are the least likely to get it.

Sponsored access puts a curriculum-aligned tutor in front of a child whose family cannot buy one.

What Caribbean AI Tutor does

An AI tutoring platform built for Caribbean education systems, from Infant 1 to Upper Sixth Form.

What it can do

  • Works through problems step by step

The tutor uses the Socratic method, adapting language and difficulty to the student’s exact grade.

  • Built on the real curriculum

Administrators upload syllabi, textbooks and worksheets; questions and explanations come from what the student is actually being taught.

  • Two modes

Guided practice with full explanations, and quick drills for exam preparation.

  • Covers Infant 1 to Upper Sixth Form

Supports Common Entrance, SEA, CSEC and CAPE, with US grade levels K–13 also supported.

  • Parents see progress

A multi-child dashboard with mastery-by-topic analytics and alerts.

  • Teachers see the class

Class rosters, performance analytics and struggling-student alerts.

How the Foundation helps

The Foundation funds sponsored licences for students whose families cannot afford one.

What sponsored access covers

Sponsored access covers a full-year student licence, at a grade and subject set agreed at award, with a parent or guardian account attached. It costs the family nothing.

Who can apply

Sponsored places are for students in Trinidad and Tobago whose households cannot afford a licence. The application asks about household circumstances, the student’s grade and target exam, the school, whether the child receives other assistance, and whether the household has a device and internet access — because a licence without a device is not help, and the Foundation would rather know and pair it with equipment or a community access point.
