The Foundation exists for underprivileged, at-risk and vulnerable citizens of Trinidad and Tobago. If you are a citizen or you care for one, and you cannot meet the cost of school supplies, books, essentials, tuition or a tool that would help you, you can apply.

Applying does not mean you will be approved. Every application is assessed the same way, against the same rubric, and places depend on the funds available in that cycle.

You get a reference number straight away, by email and by text message if you gave us a phone number. We aim to acknowledge every application within two working days and to make a decision within 21 days.

You can check where your application is in your portal at any time. If we need something else from you, we will ask you there and by message, and we will tell you why.

No. Never. Help is never conditional on agreeing to be photographed, named or written about. If you ever choose to share your experience, it happens only with a signed consent form that you can withdraw at any time.

Only the Foundation staff who assess and decide applications. Your name and details are never shown publicly. Documents you upload are stored privately and every time someone opens one, it is recorded. We keep records for at least six years because the law requires it, and then we delete them.

To the programme you choose, or to the General Fund which the Board allocates to the greatest need. Every donation is recorded in a permanent ledger with a numbered receipt, and every payment out of the Foundation needs two authorised signatories. The annual report shows what came in and what went out, by programme.

Yes, immediately, by email, with a sequential receipt number. You can download every receipt again from your donor portal.

No. Everything in the Learning Hub is free. You need an account so we can save your progress and issue a certificate, and that is free too.
